Twenty three year old “Tony Luna” formally known as Luis Antonio Luna Ramirez of Centenario, BCS. is very well known in the cycling world. Entering his spotless bicycle repair shop you are overwhelmed by medals, statues and photos he has acquired over the last twelve years.

It is not possible to report all his triumphs, as they are too numerous. Carrera del Triunfo MTB, Carrera del Centenario “La Classica” and UABCS four hour MTB are just a few of the races he has participated in and won.

He is a good-looking young man, slight and humble. Looking at him you wonder how he could have the stamina to participate in some of these grueling races.

Tony organized “Caballos Locos”. This is a group of children nine to thirteen years old.  Three times a week he trains them to race.  He was willing to donate his time but was told that perhaps by charging a nominal fee the kids would put more value on the training so he charges one hundred pesos every fifteen days. He is very proud of this group and pictures of them adorn his walls. He also works with a group of older teens.  If you would like more information on racing or the Caballos Locos check out his facebook page  “Taller Tony Luna”.

When Tony is not training, he works in his “taller” (workshop) repairing bikes. He also has a few accessories for sale and occasionally a bicycle.  Until he posts his new hours, it is best to call first to make sure he is at his shop. 612 167 3560.  Calle 1 and Palo Blanco in Amplacion Centenario.
