Well, a strong opinion is almost as good as the truth, as long as facts don’t get in the way.  In trying to unravel the mysteries of daily life in our part of Mexico, several folk have taken to administering blog sites, electronic  bulletin boards, forums, newsletters, groups and websites. Here is a list of several sites covering the peninsula from La Paz to Los Barriles, Todos Santos to East Cape.

Roz in La Paz is a “website about arts, music and Mexican culture in La Paz, Baja California’’  and can be found at www. rozinlapaz.com. You can also read excerpts from Roz’s site here in the Baja Citizen.

The Baja Western Onion news subscription newsletter offers “news for the left coast of Baja California Sur serving the communities of Todos Santos, Pescadero and the surrounding areas of BCS.”  Its http is  www.bajawesternonion.com.

Over on the East Cape, the newsletter Baja Pony Express and subscription information can be found at http://www.thebajaponyexpress.com/index.htm

La Paz is serviced by the membership-only La Paz Gringos, or LPG, hosted by groups.yahoo.com

“La Paz Gringos is a forum that connects the English speaking community through a friendly exchange of information, activities and ideas. It’s a fun, easy way to start expanding your circle of friends and contacts in La Paz … Members can ask questions, expand their social network, announce events, offer suggestions and recommendations, comment on positive experiences, etc. In short, the intent of the La Paz Gringos group is to make the expatriate experience in Mexico a little easier and more enjoyable for everyone.”
