PLEASE SHARE THIS NEWS WITH YOUR FRIENDS

We’re happy to announce that our scholarship program has been accepted by “Hispanics in Philanthropy”, an organization based in the United States with offices in Mexico.  You may make a donation through them and sponsor a student for school year 2017-2018.
$300 US will send a student to junior high school for one year.
$100 US will purchase a uniform and shoes, or a backpack filled with school supplies.
This campaign will go from now until January 8, 2017.
Simply click here and you will be on our page with HIPgive.
Thank you for your donation.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING

christmas20057 3

Each year “Programa Nacional de Proteccion Familiar” (PNPF)  has a Christmas tree and their employees and other businesses donate gifts for children who live in impoverished neighborhoods.  We are pleased to inform you that this year they have chosen for these presents to be given to children of FANLAP who partake of our dining room.
We invite friends of FANLAP to also contribute a gift or two so the 140 to 160 children who come to lunch at our “comedor” are given a gift.  We serve boys and girls from the age of 1 year to 12 years of age, most of whom attend the public grade school in Colonia Marquez de Leon.
It’s not necessary to wrap the present.
You may deliver your gifts to the PNPF tree located on Abasolo and Sinaloa or leave it at the office of Marina de La Paz, Legaspy and Topete.  Tell them the gift is for a child of FANLAP and they will ensure that it’s placed under the tree.
The gifts will be distributed to the children at a party for Three Kings Day, when school opens after Christmas vacation.
Our dining room serves children from colonias Marquez de Leon, Laguna Azul, Villas de Guadalupe, Vista Hermosa and surrounding neighborhoods.
We’re grateful to the employees of PNPF for choosing “our children” to receive gifts this year.
