See our web page at www.fanlapsubasta.com
Come join the fun at the 24th annual SUBASTA on Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Marina de La Paz to benefit the children of FANLAP.
You may presently bring any items, new or used but still in good condition, to the offices of Marina de La Paz to be sold in the live auction, silent auction, or the bazaar.  The morning of the event, bring your favorite cake, pie, cookies or candies to be sold at the bake sale.
There will be bazaars, a live auction, food and beverages, bake sale and a raffle with valuable prizes. For the first time in Subasta history, people can bid online for Silent Auction items.  Just go to www.fanlapsubasta.com and hover over “auction / Subasta” on the right hand side, and click silent auction items. There will also be two staggered closings for bids, one at 10:30 and 11:00. The highest bid on each bid sheet will be declared the winner. The silent auction ends at 11:30 December 2nd.  Winners will be notified by email or phone call by 11:00 am, Monday, Dec. 3,2012.
And we can’t forget the kiddies! There are also activities for children, including face painting and crafts. You are in for a good time as well as meeting up with new and old friends and most importantly; you will be giving to a very good cause
All proceeds from the SUBASTA go towards helping those in need.  FANLAP`s mission is to offer children and adolescents who live in marginal neighborhoods in La Paz an essential base to develop a dignified and responsible life by promoting a nutritious diet and offering tools to obtain a quality education and physical and mental well-being.
For more information, or if you would like to volunteer, send an email to Jean Wise at jnovotnywise@gmail.com or to Veronica or Maleni at fanlap@hotmail.com or stop by and see Mary Shroyer at Marina de La Paz.  Let´s make this year’s event another success.
